Washington Wizards : 116 : : Philadelphia 76ers : 102 — November 6, 2013
I’m starting to get the impression that the Sixers cannot guard the three point line. Something about allowing Andre Iguodala to shoot a career-high 7-of-11 from three and then allowing the Wizards to set a franchise record with 18 threes a couple days later just doesn’t scream “defensive competency” to me. Credit the Wizards with good ball movement and unselfish passing (assisting on nearly three-quarters of their baskets), but don’t sleep on how terrible the 76ers are capable of playing. It’s all part of the plan in Philly, because even James Anderson wants Andrew Wiggins to come in and take all of his minutes. Why else would he be doing the things he’s doing?
